Today's Lesson:
We will watch a short video about the dung beetle, which was part of the main theme in M.S last week. The students know about this creature, and I want to give them this opportunity to know more about it.
Then we will continue with our reading in pairs with 'What Are You Looking For?'
Finally we will cover pp. 78-79 and discuss hobbies further.
Conversation Class - Practice this weeks conversation.

Write Sentences using vocabulary 9-17.

Today's Lesson:
In English Class (EC)we looked at the new vocabulary for 'Hobbies' in 'My Sidewalks'.
For Writing Class (WR), we looked at things past and present, and began writing about them. We also had some further discussion on this topic, trying to elicit from the students what they already know but using English to explain it.
In our Experience Class (EXP), we are looking at the Chinese tradition of telling riddles at New Year.
Today's Homework:
Write sentences using words 1 - 7 in the notebooks

Today's Lesson:
Welcome back to the 2nd semester.
We have some fun & interesting topics coming up which we will read about and discuss.
There were no English classes today, but I have set homework which is to preview the vocabulary for week 1. This will help us to get the ball rolling tomorrow and the rest of the week.

We have some fun & interesting topics coming up which we will read about and discuss.
- Lots of things to help motivate and inspire interests in a whole range of different areas, such as starting up a new and exciting or interesting hobby.
- Learn about people who were the first to achieve a goal that led others to follow and emulate. The students in 5D are very smart, and who knows where their talents will lead them!
There were no English classes today, but I have set homework which is to preview the vocabulary for week 1. This will help us to get the ball rolling tomorrow and the rest of the week.
