Practice 'Proud of You' by Fiona Fung
Watch & discuss the movie 'The Blind Side'.
This film is about a homeless black teen, who has drifted in and out of the school
system for years. Then Leigh Anne Tuohy (Sandra Bullock) and her husband,
Sean (Tim McGraw), take him in. The Tuohys eventually become Michael's legal
guardians, transforming both his life and theirs.

In this joyous ode to life, Dr. Seuss addresses graduates of all ages, from nursery school to medical school, and gives them the get-up-and-go to move mountains.
I will give the books to students today and we will
read and discuss.

Earth:A History - As we are going to Taipei Museum of Astronomy on Wednesday, I thought I would show them this video explaining how our planet was formed, and how after many changes, life began to form. It is a very interesting video by National Geographic, and I can tell that many of the students were most curious in the content.

Think about today's tournament, and think about why the most important part of any game or sport, is the participation and NOT the winning.
If there were no participants, then there would be no winners or losers, and ultimately, there would be no sport or game.
Be proud of how you played today. For each of you, there is always the next time.
