The class were given extra homework today, because they forgot one of the golden rules in my class. Some of them were talking while others were reading aloud. This is rude and disrespectful.

EXP: Making a shoe box harp/shoe box strummer.
Today the students used an empty shoe box and rubber bands to make an instrument. This included making a bridge to change the pitch of each string (rubber band).

Writing Class 'A Taiwan Experience' Students wrote a paragraph in sequence. The main idea was that an exchange student from Germany came to stay with them. They had to write about things in Taiwan that they would share with the exchange student. Food, games, holidays and events.

*I have asked all students to bring in an empty shoe box and 6 rubber bands (large enough to fit around the width of the shoe box)

Dear parents and guardians,
most of the class got very low scores in the W1 vocab test. I am confident that this will improve with next weeks test, as the students will now understand the format. If they check their vocab lists every day/evening for 10 minutes, they will have no problem next week.
